What is a disability?

A disability can be a wide range of physical, mental, or sensory impairments such as depression, substance use disorder, anxiety, hearing impairment, chronic pain, or many other conditions.

A condition is usually considered a disability when it interferes with your ability to function well at work, at home, at school, etc.

How do I know if I have a disability?

You might be receiving medication, therapy, or other treatment from a healthcare provider for a disability, OR your disability may be undiagnosed.

Why does Mentoring Plus want to know if I have a disability?

Understanding your individual needs can help us tailor the right programming and services for you. If you have a disability, you may also be eligible for additional services related to your disability.
